We have recently published three new application templates. Below are brief descriptions of them, including links to the full details for each at our support site (support.gwapps.com).
1. New Vendor Management Template
The Vendor Management app was developed to help manage and track vendors through a formal review and approval process. It also allows for user reviews of the vendors to help ongoing vendor validation. If you want to formally track and enforce a review and approval process for vendors, then this template would be a great starting point.
The app allows you to organize and view vendors by name, their associated product/service category and user ratings. This app uses a two stage approval process, requiring both business and finance reviewers before a vendor can be approved.
For more details about this template, please see the article about it in our support site: Vendor Management Template.
2. New Purchase Requests Template
The Purchase Requests app was developed to help manage and track asset purchase requests and purchases within your organization. If you want to formally track and enforce a review and approval process for purchases, then this template is a great starting point.
The app allows you to organize and view requests by their associated department and categories. This way you can easily check how many requests you have across the organization or how many requests were made by the Sales department. The app uses a one or two stage approval process, depending on the asset category. All requests must be approved by an Approving Manager, and specified asset categories also require an additional review and approval.
For more details about this template, please see the article about it in our support site: Purchase Requests Template.
3. New Room Reservation Template
The Room Reservations app was developed to help manage, track and approve requests to hold meetings in shared rooms. If you have rooms that staff can reserve for meetings and want to formally track and enforce a review and approval process for these requests, then this template would be a great starting point.
The app allows you to organize and view room requests by room, date and status. This way you can easily check if a room is free when you need, or what rooms are free on the date/time your looking at. The app uses a simple one stage approval process.

4. New-ish Event Planning Template
The Event Planning app was developed to help people plan and manage events, such as sales seminars, launch events, training or a departmental pot-luck. If you need to plan events regularly, then this template would be a great starting point.
The app allows you to organize and view events and their associated tasks. Active events can be seen on a list or calendar style views, and completed events are stored for reference. Tasks can be viewed in lists, a calendar and a Kanban view. Tasks that exceed their due date are automatically marked as ‘Past Due’, but if their due date is updated to the future they automatically moved back to the ‘In Progress’ status.
The Event Planning template wash first published a few months ago, but we have made several minor improvements and we didn’t announce this template when we launched it, so it’s time has come for some publicity.
